You can impact the future of Þingeyjarsveit
Residents of Þingeyjarsveit now have the opportunity to influence the future of the municipality. In April, three community meetings were held to seek input from residents on priorities for the municipality, with a particular focus on the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. These meetings were part of the ongoing overall strategy formulation for the municipality, and more than 70 residents participated in the open meetings.
The consultation with residents continues, and a survey has been launched where residents are encouraged to express their views and priorities. Those who were unable to attend the community meetings are especially encouraged to participate. In the survey, residents have the opportunity to prioritize the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals and suggest priorities or projects that would be interesting to consider.
