Multi-cultural representative

The multi-cultural representative's role is to support residents of foreign origin in the community, including providing information to new residents through the Þingeyjarsveit website and other media, managing promotional materials, and facilitating networking. The multi-cultural representative also encourages cooperation among stakeholders involved in issues affecting residents of foreign origin and supports a diverse and multicultural community in the municipality.

Myrra Leifsdóttir, project manager for youth, leisure, and cultural affairs, serves as a Multicultural representative in Þingeyjarsveit.
